Class Descriptions & Styles
Beginner / Level 1
Little or no experience? Come learn the basics of Yoga. In this class we will learn the fundamental Yoga poses. Learn basic breath work & Meditation. Guided relaxation helps the body/mind relieve excess tension. A great class to start to find out "What is Yoga?"

Level 1.5
Already taken beginner Yoga but not quite ready for the inversions we explore in level 2?
In this class we will continue to work on the fundamental Yoga poses & you will explore the poses (Asana's) on a deeper level.
We will work towards longer holds & more advanced poses.
In level 1.5 we will increase our core strength to get us ready for inversions
In this class we start to explore longer Meditations,
Yoga traditions & Pranayama (the art and science of breathing).
An introduction to Yoga philosophy is also included.
A minimum of 1 year of regular Beginner Yoga/Level 1 experience is a must for this class
Level 2-Continuing The Journey
Already taken Beginner Yoga?
Want to deepen knowledge and understanding of Yoga,
then this the class for you!
In level 2 you will explore the poses (Asana's) on a deeper level.
We will work towards longer holds & more advanced poses.
In level 2, we will increase our core strength & start to work on
supported inversions (headstands, shoulderstands, & handstands) as well as arm balances!
In this class we start to explore longer Meditations,
Yoga traditions & Pranayama (the art and science of breathing).
An introduction to Yoga philosophy is also included.
A minimum of 2 years of regular Beginner Yoga experience is a must for this class
Gentle Yoga
If You Are:
Inflexible, overweight, have injuries, are recovering from surgery or childbirth, If you have medical conditions, or are just looking
for a relaxing break.
This gentle easy paced class focuses on a freeing of the joints & opening all the major muscles in a supportive mindful way.
This class is designed for people who find Level 1 challenging & need a more gentle approach to increasing their flexibility & strength. Breath work, Meditation & guided relaxation ensure that you leave feeling refreshed & recharged.
Yoga For Runners
Whether you are a new runner or a seasoned pro,
proper stretching is key to preventing injuries & improving performance. In yoga for runners, you will learn
to effectively stretch all the muscles of the legs & hips.
Special attention will be paid to strengthening the core and stretching & strengthening the muscles of the back to prevent injuries. Special breathing techniques (Pranayama)
will improve lung capacity and performance.
If you are a runner don't miss this chance to improve performance and de-stress at the same time

Yoga For Backs
I've got your back!
Experience the benefits of Yoga with a focus on the back,
neck & shoulders. Whether you sit at a desk all day or are
generally sore & tight, this class is for you!
Special attention will be given to stretching & strengthening
all the muscles that support the back including the core!
Breathing exercises, Meditation & relaxation techniques
are used to aid the mind/body in letting go
of excess tension & promote healing!
Please note:
This is not a restorative class
This class is not suitable for persons with acute injuries or
severe Scoliosis
You must be comfortable on your hands and knees
No experience required
Strength & Stamina
If you are looking for a challenge?
Work-out regularly & are looking for something new?
Then this class is for you!
In this class we work with strong standing poses & longer holds.
Special focus is given to strengthening all the major muscle groups including the core, using the body as resistance.
This class is not for the faint of heart!
A regular fitness routine or previous
Yoga experience is a must for this class
